Vision Movie Workshops

Participant Agreement

Version 2026-10-02. You accept this agreement after you pay and before your preparation page opens.

This agreement is between Malcolm Hedley Cohan (ABN 40 327 342 135), trading as Rejuvenescence (“we”, “us”, “Hedley”) and you, the person booked into a Vision Movie Workshop. The “Workshop” means all three parts: the workshop day, the Vision Movie Clinic and the Vision Movie Celebration.

1. What the Workshop is, and is not

The Workshop is an educational and creative experience. You write a personal vision and make a film of it. Everything Hedley and his helpers say to you, including any guidance or counsel about your vision and your life, is general information and personal opinion offered to help you think.

It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, financial, legal or other professional advice, and it is not therapy or treatment. Nothing at the Workshop is a promise about your health, your body, your lifespan, your relationships, your income or any other result.

2. Your decisions are your own

You are an adult making your own choices (or, if you are 16 or 17, you are here with the agreement of your parent or guardian). You decide what goes into your vision, and you decide what you do after the Workshop. Before you act on anything that affects your health, your money, your work or your relationships, you will use your own judgement and take advice from a qualified professional where a sensible person would.

You accept that you are responsible for the decisions you make and the things you do, during and after the Workshop.

3. Your wellbeing

Writing a vision for your life can bring up strong feelings. You are free to step out at any time. If you are under the care of a doctor, psychologist or other practitioner, you confirm that you have considered whether the Workshop is right for you. Please tell us beforehand about anything we should know to keep you comfortable and safe.

4. Release

To the fullest extent the law allows, you release us from any claim for loss, damage or injury arising from decisions you make or actions you take as a result of attending the Workshop, and you agree not to hold us responsible for them. You also agree to cover our reasonable loss if a claim is made against us because of something you did in breach of this agreement.

What this does not take away. Under the Australian Consumer Law our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that they are provided with due care and skill. Nothing in this agreement excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees or any other right you have that the law does not allow to be excluded. Where the law lets us limit our liability for a breach of a guarantee, it is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

5. Age

You must be 16 or over. If you are 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must accept this agreement with you, and is responsible for you at the Workshop.

6. Being on time, and how we treat each other

The workshop day starts at 10 am sharp and the script is built step by step, so please arrive by 9:45. If you arrive late we will do our best, but we cannot stop the room to catch you up. We may ask anyone who is disruptive, abusive or unsafe to leave, without a refund.

7. Other people’s visions are private

People share personal things at the Workshop. You agree to keep what other participants say, write and show in confidence, and not to photograph, record or publish it without their consent. Please do not record the sessions.

8. The Celebration: guests and filming

You may bring guests to the Celebration. You are responsible for your guests, and you will make sure they know that clauses 6, 7 and 8 apply to them too.

We may photograph and film the Celebration. If you or a guest do not want to appear, tell us on the night and we will keep you out of shot; if you appear in something we have published, ask and we will take it down.

Your Vision Movie is screened at the Celebration only if you want it to be.

9. Your movie is yours

Your answers, your Lifescript and your Vision Movie remain yours. We will not use your movie, your name or your image to promote the Workshop unless you separately say yes, and you may say no.

10. Our materials and method are ours

The Vision Movie concept, the questions, the workbooks, the slides, the prompts, the workflows and the way Vision Movies are produced were created by Hedley Cohan and belong to us. “Rejuvenescence” and “Vision Movie” are our names. You may use what you learn for your own Vision Movie and your own personal development.

Without our written permission you will not:

This does not stop you using skills and knowledge you already had, making films of your own that do not use our materials or method, or telling people what you got out of the Workshop.
